The Lucy Faithfull Foundation offers a number of services covering adult male and female sexual abusers and young people with inappropriate sexual behaviours. We carry out work on behalf of both the family court and the criminal court; we provide specialist services where there is a risk of abuse in work-based settings; we have a growing specialism in the field of internet offenders and offending; and with our campaign arm Stop it Now! UK and Ireland we operate a free phone confidential helpline for all adults concerned about sexual abuse.

 

Case Specific Consultancy - Professional advice to aid decision making in child sexual abuse cases

By offering consultations on individual child abuse cases, we assist child and public protection professionals to work through complex issues and develop clear and effective action plans. Our consultancy service includes telephone based advice, face-to-face sessions with case workers and comprehensive reviews of case papers. Click here for more information.

 

Family Court System

The safeguarding of children from sexual abuse is our paramount concern. Our expertise in working with male and female adults and adolescents whose behaviours are sexually abusive. Within this context, we conduct assessments and provide tailored intervention programmes for all parties. Click here for more information.

 

Criminal Court System

Lucy Faithfull Foundation provides services to support the Police, National Offender Management Service (NOMS) and the MAPPA in managing sexual offenders.  It also works with the Youth Justice Board regarding young people in custody. Click here for more information.

 

Work-based settings

Where there is the risk of abuse in the workplace, LFF offers a number of specialist services including risk assessments, safer recruitment training and the development and implementation of safeguarding procedures. ck here for more information. Click here for more information.

 

The Internet

LFF offers three different types of service in regard to the Internet: Inform Plus and Inform are courses working with Internet offenders and their families; Internet safety seminars for parents and teachers offer a way of better protecting young people in the virtual world; and the CROGA website is an anonymous resource for on-line offenders. This unique freephone 0808 1000 900 confidential helpline offers advice, information and support to those worried about their own sexual thoughts and behaviors towards children; adults worried about the behaviours of someone they know; the parents of young people with worrying sexual behaviours; and professionals looking for help with difficult cases or who are worried about the behaviour of a colleague. Click here for more information.
