Hear from our team

LFF is the best organisation I have worked for in my career. Everyone is extremely supportive, friendly and always there to support you. It is a great working environment with an approachable management team. Staff are encouraged to come up with new ideas and approaches to working within their team and organisation, making you feel valued and supported. The best part of my job is knowing that I am making a difference, even in a small way. Being able to call upon co-workers for advice/chat at any time and not feeling isolated when working from home. In addition, there is a variety of work and flexible working arrangements

Working for LFF is the best thing that ever happened to me. Prior to this, I was stuck in a rut in a job feeling dissatisfied and constrained by organisation structures. It has been so refreshing to work for an organisation that thinks outside the box and is not afraid to work creatively to prevent Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). The most rewarding part of the job is working with young people to help them understand their behaviour better and make positive changes to move forward with their lives

I’ve found working with LFF to be amazing. They have been so flexible with my shifts and the helpline managers have always been there when you have a tricky call. The debriefs at the end of a shift are really useful and give you time to unwind and vent to your colleagues. The best part of the job is when you get nice feedback from callers, it happens quite often but it always makes me feel like I’m making a difference

I would say the best thing about working at LFF is the hope that you are making a difference and preventing harm that probably no one will ever know that they might have come to, without you. It’s a privilege to work with men who are motivated to make changes. Having worked in other CJS settings where that was not always the case, it is wonderful to partner with people willing to work on becoming more rounded, aware and offence-free. LFF has been a brilliant organisation to work for in terms of colleagues; I think it takes someone special to work for LFF. I hear friends talking about fairly mercenary company politics or unsupportive practices, but I have been really blessed with the flexibility I have been offered with some rather unusual life circumstances

I have worked at LFF for a long time and have seen the charity grow and develop. Preventing sexual harm to children is at the heart of what we do. We make a difference every day in the lives of children and families, and that makes me proud to work for LFF
