We have worked with the Scottish Government to develop cyber resilience and online safety training for kinship carers. The programme is designed to be delivered to carers by their social workers, either in groups or individually.
The suite of training materials contain a four hour core training course on cyber resilience and online safety, download the presentation and training notes by clicking below
The course focuses on the basic awareness of relevant issues and help carers talk to their child about being safe online and developing skills. The training course also includes up to date resources and organisations that can provide further advice and support.
Evaluation forms for this training can be requested from our team.
There is an online Cyber resilience and internet safety training leaflet that supports this training and is available for download by clicking on the image below
Modules to download
To supplement this core training, we are producing a further 10 modules covering a range of relevant issues for kinship carers. The modules have around one hour of content. Trainer notes are also available for the modules.
