Our UK-wide team of trainers come from various backgrounds and disciplines and have a range of skills and abilities.

TOM SQUIRE – CLINICAL MANAGER

Tom has worked for LFF since 2007, where he undertakes specialist risk assessments for a range of agencies, and provides training, advice and consultancy

Tom provides clinical support to the Stop It Now! helpline for all adults with concerns about child sexual abuse, including those concerned about either their own or another person’s sexual thoughts, feelings and/or behaviour towards children, as well adults concerned about the sexual behaviour of a child or young person.

Tom’s background: as a probation officer, Tom completed specialist training in cognitive behavioural treatment for men who have committed sexual offences and facilitated a range of accredited treatment programmes for men convicted of sexual offences. These programmes included groups tailored towards those who offended online, as well as men with borderline learning disabilities.

DR ALEXANDRA BAILEY – SENIOR PRACTITIONER

Dr Bailey is a registered forensic psychologist, a lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London, and has worked for LFF since 2005. She undertakes specialist risk assessments and interventions commissioned by a range of agencies, provides training, advice and consultancy to other professionals, and leads the work on women who sexually offend.

Dr Bailey’s background: working with men and women within secure forensic mental health services, and previously worked with the UK Ministry of Justice as part of the Female Sex Offender Project team. 

HOLLY BURGIN – PRACTITIONER

Holly has worked for LFF since 2018 and undertakes specialist risk assessments commissioned by a range of agencies, provides training, advice and consultancy to professionals, and delivers intervention to men who have been accused or convicted of sexual offences against children and to protective carers. She also regularly works with young people who have displayed harmful sexual behaviour online and offers support to their families.

Holly’s background: in the probation service, Holly specialised in working with men who had committed sexual offences and facilitated group work programmes for men who had committed online and contact offences.

RACHEL HAYNES – SENIOR PRACTITIONER

Rachel is a registered social worker and part of our Children and Young People’s team, and leads our work with children under 12. She is also the deputy safeguarding lead with experience in working with children of all ages who have displayed harmful sexual behaviour, their families and professional networks. Rachel delivers our young people’s training packages as well as bespoke training to a wide variety of professionals, including practitioners from social care, probation and education.

Rachel’s background: in statutory child protection, where Rachel engaged families in long-term safeguarding work, as well as working in the court arena. She has also worked for the NHS in acute, inpatient psychiatric care for adolescents, where she was responsible for safeguarding children and young people and contributing to multi-disciplinary, holistic care planning.

EMMA KING – HEAD OF CLINICAL SERVICES (ADULTS)

Emma is a registered forensic psychologist, joined LFF in 2009 and works as the Head of Clinical Services for adults. She undertakes individual assessments and interventions with a range of clients including young people and adults who have committed, or are alleged to have committed, online or contact sexual offences against children, as well as protective parenting, joint and family assessments, and provides consultancy to professionals. Emma is involved in the design and delivery of training across LFF, including young-person and adult-focused training.

Emma’s background: in HM Prison Service. 

BETH LOADER – PRACTITIONER

Beth specialises in working with autistic children and their families as part of LFF’s young people’s team. She provides specialist assessment and intervention to children and young people using the AIM3 and TA-AIM frameworks to aid structured formulations and contributes to supporting young people’s families through assessment, consultancy and intervention. Beth also provides training around children and young people who display harmful sexual behaviour.

Beth’s background: worked within a youth offending team and the Birmingham Harmful Sexual Behaviour Team for nine years undertaking individualised assessments and interventions with autistic young people.

CHRIS PUMMELL – CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE PREVENTION MANAGER

Chris joined LFF in 2008. He delivers Safer Recruitment training and other bespoke courses requested by other agencies. Chris manages the Stop It Now! live chat service and promotes our helpline to other organisations, including the police and other law enforcement agencies.

Chris’s background: Chris has a PG Diploma in Child Forensic Studies and for 30 years he served with Surrey Police. He was a child protection practitioner and trainer for the force. In addition, he has experience in conducting internal management reviews (IMR) for Serious Case Reviews (SCR).

JENNY ROGERS – PRACTITIONER

Jenny has worked for LFF since 2018. She undertakes specialist risk assessments commissioned by a range of agencies, provides training, advice and consultancy to other professionals and delivers intervention to protective carers and men who have been accused or convicted of sexual offences. 

Jenny’s background: as a probation officer, she worked exclusively with men who have committed sexual offences, facilitating a range of group work programmes for men who had committed both online and contact offences and writing structured assessments of risk and need for the same.

EMILY ROWLEY – PRACTITIONER

Emily joined LFF in 2021 and undertakes specialist risk assessments and intervention commissioned by a range of agencies. She also provides training to other professionals.

Emily’s background: as a probation officer, she managed a caseload of people assessed as presenting a high risk of sexual harm and then went onto complete specialist cognitive behavioural training to facilitate therapeutic treatment programmes for men who had committed contact sexual offences as well as those who had offended online. Emily has also supervised and supported other facilitators in the delivery of these treatment programmes and has also worked with men who have identified learning disabilities.

VICKI WYNN – SENIOR PRACTITIONER

Vicki has worked for the Foundation since 2020. She undertakes specialist risk assessments commissioned by a range of agencies, provides training, advice and consultancy to other professionals and delivers intervention work for men who sexually offended, and protective parenting interventions with parents and carers. Vicki also delivers our Inform Plus and Engage Plus programmes for men who sexually offended online, and the Inform Young People programme for young people who have engaged in online harmful sexual behaviour or offending.

Vicki’s background: as a probation officer, her previous role included case management as well as specialising in delivering cognitive behavioural treatment programmes for men who had committed sexual offences, including programmes for those who had offended online, and those with learning disabilities and challenges.
