Call an end to child sexual abuse
We’re excited to launch a new fundraising appeal for our Stop It Now helpline with a goal of raising £10,000. For every pound raised, a generous donor will add an additional 30p (up to £3,000).
For more than two decades our Stop It Now helpline has supported people to take action to prevent child sexual abuse. It serves as a lifeline for anyone with concerns about child sexual abuse, including those worried about their own thoughts or behaviour to get help before they harm a child.
Our helpline advisors support thousands of people to protect children from harm. Now, they need your help.
Last year, our advisors responded to an average of 77 requests for help every day – via email, online chat, or phone call.
Unfortunately, 22 people a day couldn’t reach us on the phone in their time of crisis. Half of them never got through.
Each one of these missed callers represents a lost opportunity to protect a child.
As the demand for our helpline grows, we need your support to help us:
- increase our capacity to respond to more calls, emails and chats
- ensure everyone who needs our support knows it’s available
- create a safer world for children
