Learn more about our training in our blog post.

The following sessions are now available for professionals in Wales:

Working with children who display harmful sexual behaviour (12 years and under)

This webinar helps attendees develop confidence in identifying harmful sexual behaviours (HSB) displayed by children and improves understanding of the possible causes of sexual behaviours. It considers the wider context of the child, including adverse childhood experiences and trauma and how this can impact behaviour. Train-the-trainer new dates

We are continuing to deliver our train the trainer sessions for professionals who are interested and currently employed in a role where they can facilitate preventative work with parents.

This is a fantastic opportunity for professional development, and we particularly welcome enquiries from practitioners who work with marginalised groups across Wales.

Date: 6 and 7 November 2024 (9:30 am – 12:30 pm on both days)

Other news

We recently collaborated with the Internet Watch Foundation and Aylo, and tested whether using warnings and a chatbot could deter people from searching for sexual images of children.

Our findings indicated:

  • a reduction in searches for sexual images of children
  • a high deterrence rate as just one warning from the chatbot was enough to stop people in 82% of sessions (periods of time spent on the website) from continuing their search for illegal content.
